Other than Halliburton, Zionists and Larry Silverstein, who profited from the 9/11 false flag operation?

The purpose of insurance is to cover against loss, not to enrich.

You really think Silverstein profited from the WTC being taken down? Where is the money coming from for cleanup and rebuilding?

You've got a lot to learn about commercial property.

EDIT - Mikey, that simply means payment was made for the value of the buildings. I don't know for certain about the WTC, but most commercial property has a mortgage attached to it. Guess who gets first crack at insurance proceeds? The mortgage holders. Any funds Silverstein receives are net of the debt obligations on the building. And what is he left with? A pile of rubble. So if he rebuilds, what is the enrichment?

Just like, if your house burns down, and you have a mortgage, your mortgage company gets the proceeds, and nets you a check for the insurance procees minus what you owed.

Do the math.Other than Halliburton, Zionists and Larry Silverstein, who profited from the 9/11 false flag operation?
no one did! Because 10 trillion in debt means they are being paid in imaginary money.Other than Halliburton, Zionists and Larry Silverstein, who profited from the 9/11 false flag operation?
Marvin, Jeb, George,Neils, and dad. Carlyle Group. I am a Zionist and I don't see that connection. Why do you have to mix your antisemetic BS in with the Truth of 911. The WTC was destroyed with a controled demolition. But I am sorry Mel Gibson it wasn't the fault of Israel.
Check the owners of Haliburton...you will be suprised.....MORE DEMOCRATS OWN SHARES..in fact one FAMOUS DEM FAMILY OWNS 51%

THE LBJ crew....and now Soro is getting in the Picture for 196 million....but that is ok with the dems...RIGHT%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;
pretty good response there dr.who.. none of the above had to do with 9/11/01.. it was der Slick meister-- WmJeffersonClinton, tom daschell, osamma, and a few covert cia agents(valorie plame and her assholeborn husband) working with the airline pres's and the owners of the towers(which were about to be declaired blighted and it would have cost bllions to tear those rotting things down).. follow the money-- it is the truth.
There are only two people that I can think of who profited from that and that is Rudy G. baby, and the lease-holder of the towers. The lease-holder paid $15 million and with his new insurance, which BTW he added 'acts of terrorism' to it, the guy came out with $900 million. Halliburton and Zionists had nothing to do with it. When building 7 was 'pulled' it contained ALL security and Intel from the CIA.
I'll tell you only if you can tell me what Haliburton does. Tell me about their business and what makes them money.

You still haven't told me what they do. Tell me how war makes them money. Cmon smart guy tell me.
Um........... I think it goes higher and deeper than them.

The Global Cabal with their need for total control profitted more than anybody. With the fear that was produced by the horrific events of that day, the patriot act was welcomed with open arms, but little do people know that this act was just one step closer to a One-World Government. It is so scary how so right George Orwell was.

  • All firms maximize profits? true or false?

False. Some firms exists simply for tax purposes, creating postive cash flow but a net loss to create a tax deduction. Others exist solely as a legal entity for the benefit of another (parent company). All firms maximize profits? true or false?
False... some maximize profit only to the extend they obtain benfit after taxes... some firms are kept at a loss in order to mitigate profit in other areas....All firms maximize profits? true or false?
    yes, unless they're a non-profit organization.
False, often firms pursue policies that don't maximize profits but that have other benefits. An example might be philanthropy. The money donated doesn't generate a return but satisfies other needs such as making employees feel they work for an honorable organization.

Maybe a better example is when an individual is approached on the street by a panhandler. The profit maximizing course would be to not give a hand out. But people do. Why? Because the ';value'; derived from making the donation outweighs the cost. People at work sometimes behave in the same way.

Also, some firms will forgo profit opportunities if there is sufficient risk.

Health insurance industry profits have quadrupled in the last seven years...True or false?

True?Health insurance industry profits have quadrupled in the last seven years...True or false?
    False

    They have quintupled

    http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:qda6鈥?/a>

And they actually have people who's job it is to find ways to deny coverage so they can increase profits. What a bunch of scumbags.

The U.S. averages twice as much spending on health care, with worse outcomes, than any other industrialized nation. Our country is unique in its dependence on over 1200 for-profit health insurances that function as gatekeepers to health care. Shareholder and CEO profits trump access to quality health care.Health insurance industry profits have quadrupled in the last seven years...True or false?
Probably false. But I don't know. I would say their profits have gone down due to large payouts on frivolous lawsuits. If people want to complain about the cost, then they should look in the correct place for that cost. Tort reform would be a fresh start to controlling the costs. But given that most of Congress and almost every lobbyist is a lawyer, do you see that happening anytime soon? I don't.
False. Health Insurance companies average about 3% profit. So if they were making 25% of that 7 years ago, do you really believe they were making 0.75% profit then?

How much does a law firm make when they win a lawsuit against a doctor or hospital or drug manufacturer? 50%?. 66%?
Take a look at the stock charts of the major insurers and what do you see? Not a pretty picture.

Next straw man, please. We've heard plenty about the insurance companies that can mint money at will and not be subject to market forces.
Yeah heaven forbid somebody should actually make money in this economy... damn big business, making all that profit, employing all those people, developing all that research... who the hell do they think they are?
ya most people steal their healthcare now by abusing their system so the people who pay for insurnce have to pay more, you have it wrong their revenue has increased not their profits
    True.

    Yay!! lol

Oh yeah @ that guy: Making money off the backs of heartbreak %26amp; sick/ dying people, nice.

Maybe i shuld set up a business where I render people like YOU unable to work
Why don't you provide a link so we can all see how profits have increased over the years?
    true. and they turn down needed care for very sick people because it's not ';approved.';
True, while coverage has gone down.
    5x
    False
Must be the global warming thats causing all of that ...
True, that is why they are in it, for the money

True or False? Only at the output where average revenue equals average total cost will profits be maximized?

False - profits will be zero at this point.True or False? Only at the output where average revenue equals average total cost will profits be maximized?
False- at this point you are not making any money you are at the break even point. You make money where revenue exceeds costs.

True or False ..If Total Profits are maximized, the marginal profits is zero.?

True or False ..If Total Profits are maximized, the marginal profits is zero.

Explain pleaseTrue or False ..If Total Profits are maximized, the marginal profits is zero.?
It depends on the market you are describing.

For a perfectly competitive market: price=marginal revenue=marginal cost.

Economic profits in this market are zero in the long run. In the short run, a firm may see small economic profits but since there are no barriers to enter the market, another company will enter itself into the market, supply increases will drive economic profit back to zero.

In this scenario, profits are maximized. So, True.

If you are talking about a monopolistic market though, the answer would be false.True or False ..If Total Profits are maximized, the marginal profits is zero.?
    True

Regardless of market structure, profits are maximized at mc=mr. Since marginal costs equal marginal revenue, the marginal profits are zero. At any other level, profits are not maximized; they can be increased by changing the output level.

This happens to equal the market price only in pure competition, but mc=mr maximizes profits in any market structure.
False, anyhow if total profit is increased then marginal profit will have any percentage.

Is this true or false? 1.To mximize profits, a firm should expand production as long as it is making profits.?

False- you will reach a point where profitability the amount of money made per dollar input will decline. (could be a supply, production, or input issue) examples (saturated market, lack of space for production and storage, overtime) respectively . You will reach a point where you have expanded production but would have made more money if you had stopped at a previous point. So that while you may continue to expand under your question may make sense in some situations

(your competition suffers a major production setback and you want to steal market share now in the hope of keeping some of it where you no longer have that advantage, in most cases the real world answer will lie somewhere along the decline of the profitability curve past its' peak.

Profitability is a hard concept sometimes. One of the best examples is big oil companies. Many people point to their record profits, but the truth is that these companies are so big to make that amount of money. If I had to depend on income from a company I would start I could go into a lot of things pharmacuticals, tobacco, computer chips , software or any number of things and make more money back for every dollar I put in than an oil company. example take a look at how much money Microsoft would make if it were the same size as Exxon (Exxon is about 2.5 times bigger) can you imagine Bill Gates sitting any higher up the richest person on the planet list? But I digress. Hope this helps.

True of false: if economic profits are zero, then economic rents must also be zero.?

true of false: if economic profits are zero, then economic rents must also be zero.True of false: if economic profits are zero, then economic rents must also be zero.?

  • Reasons for having a Gun: Make a profit for the seller - false courage for the coward - kill people you hate.?

Are there any other reasons for having a gun, other than killing helpless animals which makes some cowards fell powerful?Reasons for having a Gun: Make a profit for the seller - false courage for the coward - kill people you hate.?
The USA is unique in the western world for its love of gun ownership.

The rest of the world just can't understand it.Reasons for having a Gun: Make a profit for the seller - false courage for the coward - kill people you hate.?
I tend to agree with you. I am a person who does not like guns either but our constitution does give the amercan people the ';right to bear arms'; and that is not likely to change regardless of the various tragedies that have occurred.

The one thing I would like to mention is that it would be impossible for the u.s. to totally rid itself of gun carrying individuals. The honest person would probably turn them in as requested if the government ordered it, but the criminals would not and as we have learned from experience, criminals will find a way to get weapons if they want one regardless of our laws against felons being allowed to purchase etc.

In otherwords, I do not think that gun control laws would be an effective deterent for crimes committed with weapons. Only a change in the mind set of individuals could really make a difference and we both know that is not likely to happen either.
the gun was put in his hand by the world we have created on this earth....... we sell guns and then condemn if a person uses it...... he is the weapon created by us...... either no one is responsible or everyone is responsible....for what happens......
Have you noticed that most of these mass murders happen in places where guns are forbidden? If someone is planning to kill, he's not going to be worried about whether he gets that gun legally.
Actually there are several good reasons to own a gun. First it is an Americans right to own one (provided they haven't committed any felonies) to defend their home and family. Secondly, farmers and herders usually have guns to protect their livestock from predators. And thirdly, with regards to killing helpless animals, you have to remember that us humans have driven off most of the natural predators causing an imbalance in the predator-prey relationship. If an animal is hunted for food, and it is killed in a way to minimize the suffering, and it is not wasted, then I don't have a problem over this as opposed to animals that spend their entire lives cooped up in small boxes with no quality of life. If you want to defend helpless animals, I suggest you take a look at the food industry and their treatment of animals, at least the deer that is hunted in the woods has had a life.

    False Profits....?

I saw this as a part of a question. I want to know how people back up ';profits'; in any case. I don't think Gods or godess talk to us at all so how can you say something so silly? History can't even find these people. and they have found alot so far. so if you think I'm wrong thats fine. I'm not going to believe in jesus. I walked far away from that path long ago. Happier as a freerange pagan.... ThanksFalse Profits....?
False profits sums up Christianity perfectly. Thank you for making my day.False Profits....?
We can say something like that because its true. God answers the prayers from faithful people and even does miracles and gives them the Holy Spirit as a personal testimony to them. And we are the testimony of God.

Perhaps the reason your experience with God was not a fruitful one was because you had no faith.
Whats your question????????? Only through Jesus do you have eternal life.
False Profits? You must be talking about Enron not Christianity.
Profits can be backed up with sales receipts and spread sheets...

there really is no way to verify a prophet. Most of them claim their god(s) spoke directly to them, which is questionable, but not entirely impossible. You can't prove it, you can't disprove it.

I'm Pagan as well...do the Goddess and God talk to me? Well, if you mean do I ever hear a booming voice coming out of the sky to tell me what I should do then no, they don't...but yet they do...they speak to me in symbols. Whenever a major change is imminent in my life (even before I know it), Hecate starts leaving crow feathers for me to find...it's like ';heads up, your in for a change';. That's how they ';speak'; to me - but then I'm not claiming to be a prophet...
as a Muslim i respect your comments. However this is the point of faith. believing in something unseen. and Allah has given you the free will to choose Him or not to choose Him. but keep in mind that Allah also has the free will to punish, and bless accordinly to His own free will.
profits. nice wordplay. true, their god is the all mighty dollar.
Well actually people believe that god gets one person truly devoted and picks that individual. But once again it is a story that is passed on sdo it may be true and it may not, but we may never know the truth. So it all depends on faith .
Is believing in proPHEts silly, or is not being able to spell simple words silly? By the way history has found many proPHEts. Nostradamus comes to mind. I'm glad you're happy as a ';freerange'; pagan but that's no excuse to not be able to spell properly.
false profits, are u losing money?
you said godess! LOL...if there where godesses then why did it take SOOOOO long for women to get enpowerment or even the right to vote. If you believe in godesses then no one will take YOU seriously.
False profits? LOL. That is so funny.

    False Profits - The televangelists?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wAQ5ftiE鈥?/a>False Profits - The televangelists?
Their profits are real enough. Don't know about the prophets and prophecies, though. Great pun!False Profits - The televangelists?
Well, there are many on TV and off that even though at one point, they knew God's word to some level - they have fallen away. And yes, are false prophets. I don't care for Benny Hinn and perhaps yes, he fits this category

This fits in with the parable about the sower i n Mark 4 - this portion in particular

5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.

In other words - some heard the word of God and accepted it and at first - they were very dedicated right away - but some time after they died out because they never had the TRUE root - love - in their hearts for various reasons - they grew in EARTHLY conditions - the rocky places

    continuing to

7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain.

Here int he thorns - these can be those that heard but from an already twisted and false doctrine - which chokes any others that hear and accept this false belief.
Not all televangelists are phonies. Benny Hinn does not put curses on people who speak against his ministry. He is a person who was born Israel, worked for Kathryn Kuhlmann, and is a Christian, he has a healing ministry, and travels the world spreading the gospel. He spends his own mon ey setting up his crusades, and helps the local churches in the impoverished areas of the world. He has set up, and maintains schools, and orphanages around the world. A false prophet is someone who professes a gospel other than Jesus, someone who adds to or takes away from the Words of the Lord, or who puts the emphasis on his/her self. He does not do that. Test the spirit . Some do not understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit in his life, and think he is'faking' what takes place in his crusades. I assure you, theat there is no fakery involved. I was sitting in the back of a very large auditorium, when he pointed to my over-crowded section from the platform where he was standing. Without exception, all of us were slain under the power of the Holy Spirit, many were saved, and healed, and countless were filled with the Holy Spirit.
My wife %26amp; I listen to Joyce Meyers and she has some very good and biblical teaching that has helped my wife.

I agree with what she teaches, but disagree with the way she uses money so I don't send a dime to the ministry.

I am sorry to say that as her teaching helps many people.

Benny Hinn, I just stay away from as I can't figure him out.

There are some good bible teachers on the TV and they are worth while.

The Coral Ridge preacher was good, but has gone on.
ARE YOU KIDDING??? They are all sound LEGAL profits protected by the US Constitution!

    Jeremiah 6:13 (NIV) ';From the least to the greatest, ALL are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike* (*including the Bible writers), ALL practice deceit.';

    Christians don't get it!
    ';Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.';

Yes. Benny Hinn is absolutey one of these.

Many televangelists are, but there are a couple who aren't. ALWAYS test them by the Word of God, and you will know them by their fruits.

    God Bless
Personally, (I haven't seen many televangelists, and therefore can't judge all of them) I think televangelists are just people who take advantage of religion to make a profit.
These kind of people are nothing but lazy parasites and should be put to forced labour breaking rocks with hammers for the rest of their miserable lives.
Yeah.. they declare False Profits.. you know.. I.R.A. are everywhere.
On the contrary, the televangelists make quite a bit of real profit lol
I love the play on words here. False Profits.

Yes, they are quite creepy. How could anyone follow these people?
    I agree, they're all nutcases.
john Hagee is good. He really knows his stuff.
    me too

True or false. profits are negative in the growth stage?

Not always. Your business can grow without going into the negatives or sacrificing profits.

But it can go both ways. If you're asking for your business purposes, I would recommend not letting it get too deep and staying away from high-interest credit.

If a firm makes an economic profit, it is making at least a normal rate of return.....true or false???

This must be true ---- economic profit is ';year end'; income after rate of return is paid.

This means that, at least on the books, you're making a profit.

During highly inflationary periods, the real EP might be negative; if you need a contrary answer. If a firm makes an economic profit, it is making at least a normal rate of return.....true or false???
True, and even it can be making an above normal rate of return, because economic profit means making both an accounting profit (ie: incomes %26gt; costs + expenses) and a profit on the opportunity cost (the next best alternatives or investments on which the invested money could have been spent elsewhere). But, generally speaking, economic profit is the exception rather than the case. Sooner or later, the entrants of new competitors (assuming perfect or semi-perfect competition) will sweep away the economic profit and make all the contenders make only accounting profit, and when the number of rivals starts to decline over the long run, economic profits can be recovered again (over the very long run, if you have enough patience). If a firm makes an economic profit, it is making at least a normal rate of return.....true or false???
True. A normal rate of return is associated with zero economic profits. Remember that economic profits include ALL costs, including the return to the owners of the firm. So, if the firm is earning economic profits, the firm is earning an abnormal rate of return.

Over time, other firms will be attracted to this industry, and their entry will drive down the abnormal return. In other words, economic profits will be driven to zero.

Another option of course, is that the firm is a monopolistic competitor. The firms owns a patent or a brand name that gives it monopoly power.

False. The Air Conditioning Companies are causing Global Warming to increase profits: True or False?
You've hit on another conspiracy theory. Look to the automotive industry, petrochem and power industries just to name some. Have you any idea how many millions of pounds of pollutants countries like Russia, China, North Korea, and yes, even the USA pump into the atmosphere each hour? Check it out, then worry a whole lot about the future of the planet, and what will be left behind for future generations. To add to the problem, Uncle George (Bush) makes statements like there is no global warming.
Probably true in 80% of the cases. Anything that will help make a buck is used.
global waring has nothing to do with air conditioners false
False. They aren't trying to cause global warming. They just sell a product that contributes to pollution as do many other products. Everyone is trying to increase profits. Not just the aircondotioner sellers.

Could it be that Jesus and Muhammad are both false profits?

fake profits exist in accounting processes that fail to utilize double-entry bookkeeping.

since both of these men utilized the single entry method (one religious text per religion - the bible for christianity and the koran for islam)...there is more than likely the possibility for oversight, and underhandedness.

so yes, quite the ';creative accounting'; geniuses, wouldn't you say?Could it be that Jesus and Muhammad are both false profits?
No, think about it, the Jews hated Jesus, and if He was a fake they would have seen to it that His death would have been an end to it, the very fact that Christianity has lasted threw the ages is a testament of Him being the true messiah. Mohammad on the other hand came years afterward and the Koran is many verses from the bible as is the book of Mormon. You have to be careful because we are warned about false profits and how to recognize them, Jesus is the only way, you can bet your life on it.Could it be that Jesus and Muhammad are both false profits?
Profits has to do with money.

Jesus is son of the Living God. He is the second part of the Trinity. He has all the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Muhammad is a counterfeit and no profit comes from him in any way in any one's life.
False profits are punishable by the SEC with suspension of the right to sell stock to the public.
Jesus fulfilled over 400 prophecies. His grave is empty. Mohammed? Well read thebible and then read the koran. See what you think...

Yeah, when a church speaks truth, the liberals don't like it so they can pull strings and try to put pressure on a church with an IRS audit. Gore tried it several times and failed, the idiot.
Sadly there is enough evidence against them to convict, but as a defense they insist that we cannot disprove these profits.
    This question is Hilarious.
    Why would the do that?

If the profits are false, then the IRS would have to write refund checks.

True or false, All corporations operate primarily for profit.?

    False.

Non-profit corporations do NOT operate for a profit, they are charitable organizations while still being corporations.

But, for the rest of them, of course. Why else would someone risk it all to start a business?True or false, All corporations operate primarily for profit.?
    True.

Well, not entirely after I read some of the answers below. It's true that there are non-profit corporation and I'm not talking about non-profit organisations who are working for world peace or environments. A few corporations come to mind namely, Swift Organisation working for communications for financial institution, and in fact Master Card is a non profit corporation. Very odd right? But, Swift is own by Financial Institutions that use them in proportion of the services they use. The set up is to maintain the neutrality of the organisation for the profit of other organisation.

As for Master Card, I really forget why they are non-profit, but their expenses are much greater than the profit rival; Visa.True or false, All corporations operate primarily for profit.?
There are not-for-profit corporations, but even they need to consider revenues and expenses to stay in business. In the practical sense, the large ones (for example, United Way, Goodwill) are run as if they are for profit.

And any large corporation is going to be run primarily for profit. If not, it will go under. There are plenty that don't make a profit, anyway, in spite of their efforts - imagine how they would get killed if they weren't focused on making money?

There are probably some one-person corporations, or small businesses that are incorporated, without having profit as their #1 goal.

If this is a question on a test, I wouldn't look so deeply, and mark it false, because of ';not-for-profit'; corporations.

True or False: Churches today are More of a Business for profit establishment than they are for saving souls?

I believe that is true of some churches, but not all of them. --------------------------True or False: Churches today are More of a Business for profit establishment than they are for saving souls?
This question is far to general, sorry, so it can't really be answered absolutely true or false.

It is true that many churches have lost sight of what their purpose as a church is.

It is also true that many churches have not, and continue to serve God and His people.

I think there has been a definite increase in the number of Churches who have lost sight of their purpose in this world as of late.True or False: Churches today are More of a Business for profit establishment than they are for saving souls?
No, that is false. Churches have gone away from God in these end times, and greed has certainly stepped into the picture, but there are still motives in the church to serve God, and most of those who get money hungry are deceived, and genuinely believe that what they are doing is right. They are just misguided.
Difficult question...made more difficult by your use of ';today';. It is always difficult to generalize...what's the frame of reference. Should I focus on the specific churches in my community?...and do I look at the number of churches or the relative size of the congregation (for example, would a large non-denominational church with 2,000 members carry the same weight in the equation as a small church with 50 members? Today complicates the matter...should I compare to my own experience over the last 40 years (is it getting better or worse)...or are we talking about today compared to 100 or 1,000 or 2,000 years ago?

';Profit establishment'; is also problematic. From a legal perspective, if a church is making a ';profit'; it isn't a church. If a church takes in more revenue than it pay out in ';expenses';, it violates its non-profit status. Of course, some churches justify some ridiculous ';expenses'; such as a million dollar home for the pastor, huge salaries for employees (including the pastor), elaborate buildings, art, and much more...

Given all that, I'd say that some churches are ';revenue-oriented'; instead of ';people-oriented';, but I think it is a relatively small number of individual churches (and a smaller number of denominations in general) that focus on increasing revenue. Far more of them are ';doctrine-oriented'; rather than ';people-oriented';, and revenue is a secondary consideration...they aren't focused on saving souls, they are focused on saving themselves (they need just enough revenue to sustain their membership).

Finally, I think there are a growing number of churches that ARE focusing on saving souls...they aren't trying to make their leaders wealthy and they aren't focused on ';protecting the flock';...they are reaching out to people where they live, providing for their needs, and sharing the good news that Jesus wants to give them an eternal life.
Absolutely true. But it is not a modern innovation. Religion has been used to control and extract money from the populace for centuries.

This has nothing to do with right or wrong or religion. It is about MONEY! This stuff sells. If it didn't, no one would do it. It's a business, just like any other, except it is selling a product that doesn't exist. That, however, has never stopped people from paying for it.
I think it depends upon the church. Our current church... we spent the last 2 years praying and trusting in God to make our budget every month. But more of our time has been spent praying and working on letting people know we are out there.

This year... we've been blessed by a few kind hearts. So, we stuck a little away for a rainy day and most of it's going back out to mission work.
Unfortunately, true. Very few churches nationwide have a burden for visiting and praying for others. At our church, the so-called preacher visits the same few people every week. It is a shame at our missed opportunities.
True, they have fallen into the category of business. Don't forget they have done this in the past too like when they used to sell ';indulgences'; way back when
False. I have never heard of churches as a profitable establishment. But I've heard of pastors who have strayed.
I'll put it this way: the millions of dollars thrown away on the ';Yes on 8'; campaign wasn't spent by the Freedom from Religion Foundation.
I would say some. Revelation speaks of all kinds of churches, and this fits with quite a few.

Should profits from false Apocalyptic predictions be confiscated?

IMHO, Apocalyptic predictions do a lot of harm: scare people unnecessarily, distract them from productive enterprise, and prevent people from thinking about what is best for the future in the long term.

I therefore propose that false prophecy be punished, at least to the extent of confiscation of any profits resulting from book and movie publication, perhaps with additional penalties.

The penalty would not be extracted until, say, one year after the prediction fails to come true, e.g. Dec 21, 2013.Should profits from false Apocalyptic predictions be confiscated?
I'd be happy if they'd all just come here to say ';Oops, my bad!';.

But no. They'll just move on to the NEXT end of the world!Should profits from false Apocalyptic predictions be confiscated?
    God foretold warnings.Are we afraid?
I suspect you are being ';funny'; but something like that becams real serious regarding his first coming:

4 And it came to pass that in the commencement of the ninety and second year, behold, the prophecies of the prophets began to be fulfilled more fully; for there began to be greater signs and greater miracles wrought among the people.

    3 Ne 1:5

5 But there were some who began to say that the time was past for the words to be fulfilled, which were spoken by Samuel, the Lamanite.

    3 Ne 1:6

6 And they began to rejoice over their brethren, saying: Behold the time is past, and the words of Samuel are not fulfilled; therefore, your joy and your faith concerning this thing hath been vain.

    3 Ne 1:7

7 And it came to pass that they did make a great uproar throughout the land; and the people who believed began to be very sorrowful, lest by any means those things which had been spoken might not come to pass.

    3 Ne 1:8

8 But behold, they did watch steadfastly for that day and that night and that day which should be as one day as if there were no night, that they might know that their faith had not been vain.

    3 Ne 1:9

9 Now it came to pass that there was a day set apart by the unbelievers, that all those who believed in those traditions should be put to death except the sign should come to pass, which had been given by Samuel the prophet.

    3 Ne 1:10

10 Now it came to pass that when Nephi, the son of Nephi, saw this wickedness of his people, his heart was exceedingly sorrowful.

    3 Ne 1:11

11 And it came to pass that he went out and bowed himself down upon the earth, and cried mightily to his God in behalf of his people, yea, those who were about to be destroyed because of their faith in the tradition of their fathers.

    3 Ne 1:12

12 And it came to pass that he cried mightily unto the Lord all that day; and behold, the voice of the Lord came unto him, saying:

    3 Ne 1:13

13 Lift up your head and be of good cheer; for behold, the time is at hand, and on this night shall the sign be given, and on the morrow come I into the world, to show unto the world that I will fulfil all that which I have caused to be spoken by the mouth of my holy prophets.
If people are soooooo stupid that they actually believe these false predictions, maybe they deserve to lose their money. There's a believer born every minute.
Jesus.said that the Apocalypse would happen ';within the lifetime of some of '; the people listening to him. That would make his prediction at least 1920 years off (even if He came back tomorrow).

So could we make the penalties accumulative, say, a tenth of the Church's riches every century? Today the Church would be further into the red than Madoff.
That would certainly save us a lot of hassle.

But I was kind of hoping to make a few bucks making insanely vague predictions about the future and being declared a prophet.

Economic profit includes a return to shareholders true or false?

False - some companies do not declare dividends and return nothing back to the shareholder.

True or false: The profit factor should be removed from all Doctor decisions.?

This carton will illustrate the point:

A patient sitting in a doctor's waiting room overhears what the doctor is saying on the phone. The doctor says: ';Go ahead deary, and buy that fur coat, we will manage somehow.';True or false: The profit factor should be removed from all Doctor decisions.?
Go a little past that to the insurace companies that tell the doc what to bill!True or false: The profit factor should be removed from all Doctor decisions.?
Yes, dentists too, they see every tooth as a big dollar sign. They tell you to have all this dental work you don't even need cause they can make huge bucks. I was told i desperately needed all four wisdom teeth removed immediately when i was 22. That was 25 years ago, I still have all four wisdom teeth and I enjoy chewing with them and using them, no problems. they will outlive me. This is an example.
False: No one should be expected to work for free.

Is it right to tolerate people who teach false notions for profit?

You mean the way religion does?

No, I don't think it's tolerable at all.Is it right to tolerate people who teach false notions for profit?
Difficult to answer, tolerate could mean so many things. If I don't have to know them, I would prefer not to. If it is somebody I had to be a around, the answer is easy...I don't have the ability to tolerate them. I would always say something. I believe benevolence and wisdom are absolutely essential to a complete existence. To mislead people is deceitful and wrong, to do it for profit is morally reprehensible. Is it right to tolerate people who teach false notions for profit?
Not only is it right to tolerate people who teach false notions for profit but you are obligated to Love them. That does not mean that you have to agree with them, It does not mean that you will not become upset with their answers. Try to point out the falseness of their teaching if you can. But remember, as you can tell from some of the answers you received already, there are those who are only out to get a reaction from you.

Why would an atheist go to a Religion and Spirituality site if they were not there simply to try to get someone upset? Why have people given you provocative answers if not to stir you?
When is tolerance a bad thing? Doesn't the christian bible teach tolerance? And, who is to decide what is a false notion?

Why is it so hard for some people to accept anothers right to believe what they want? If you don't like what someone has to say, then don't listen. If they want money to teach you about their beliefs, don't give it to them.
People are vulnerable to such false teachings. We have a society that created a law against that. Man's search for the truth have led him to wander from one falsehood to another. When man will really know and understand, that is the time when those who took advantage of man's innocence will be dealt with.

Modern society however must be blamed for this.

There are people around who gives inspirational words for free and yet more are listening to those who they see making money for what comes out of their mouth or who presented themselves with credentials and records of academic achievements.

Oftentimes, the simplest mind is the truest that speaks for free.
    No.

Would you support someone if they ran around supporting the crazy theory that Big Foot created everyone, descended to save us all, and killed himself to save everyone and had legends and stories told about him for centuries to come just because they wanted some extra money?

No. (Well, even if it wasn't for money, I still wouldn't support that, but that's beside the point.)
    Sure it is...

To the guy making all the money.

My personal favorite is Mike Murdock. Frankly, the more I watch him, the harder it is for me to understand why anybody would support the cause of such blatant promissory nonsense.

The law can't really crack down on religion until it poses a threat to the peace, but we can.
Yes, you must tolerate them, but you are free to challange their message.

I believe the USA is in so much trouble now because the Christian Left has failed to chastise the Christian Right for their misinterpreations and false teachings.
In religion, it is good to be able to detect true notions from false notions. Good seed produced good fruit.

If people are asking ';why do bad things happens to good people?'; then the fruit is not good.
is it okay to be intolerate of people who may not do the most moral of choices. If one starts labeling everyone who shares a different point of view about the world untolerable then one is truly dense.
No! We should be totally intolerant of people who have different beliefs/opinions than ourselves. The Bible says so......
No, but it happens all the time. People are taught false notions by the media for profit constantly.
    No.

    Organized religions included.

I'd say there isn't anything wrong with it as long as their false notions are not harming anyone.
You mean like that lunatic Jack Chick? Most definatly not!!
    definitely not.

  • A firm which makes zero economic profit will still remain in business? True or False?

well, first of all, if economic profit is zero, this would mean that a business is earning normal profit only

so, its false? because why would a firm stay in business when its only earning normal profit? or no? or does anyone have a better explanation for this? id appreciate any comments. thanksA firm which makes zero economic profit will still remain in business? True or False?
When we talk about economic profit, we have to consider opportunity cost. So, if the economic profit is 0, not only are they paying their bills like Warm said, but also they are also making a profit that is comparable to what they would make if they were doing anything else but what they currently are.

So, they would stay in business. True.

*ADD ON, The firm does not necessarily have 0 accounting profits. Would be positive if all other opportunities would have postitive accounting profits.A firm which makes zero economic profit will still remain in business? True or False?
Normal profit vs. Economic profit? What are the differences? Are these actual terms?

Technically it could stay in business, at least in an economy without inflation. If a business totally breaks even, and they can pay for their workers, machines, etc., then I don't see why not.

If you have to pay your bills, and you have exactly enough money to pay for all of them at the end of the month, then you're still good right? You just hope that next month, you have extra money left over to invest in other things.
True because the firm breaks even, which is a good thing.

Is It Possible That Obama Is Either ';The False Profit'; or ';The Antichrist'; as Foretold In The Bible?

In The Book Of Revelation, there is talk about a man who will rule the earth and he will be able to ';cause peace throughout the world';.

He will be given this ';power'; over all of the world to ';make peace';.

** The Antichrist will preach a message of peace. The prophet Daniel says that ';he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue.'; (Daniel 11:21) **

** The Antichrist will enter the world on a platform of peace, tell the people what they want to hear and amazes them with signs and wonders to win their trust. They are happy to accept his one-world government.

And once they accept him, the beast is revealed. **

Could President Obama, in light of him winning this ';WORLD PEACE PRIZE';, for having accomplished NOTHING to deserve it, actually be either THE FALSE PROFIT, who comes before ';the beast';, or THE BEAST himself, as is foretold in The Book Of Revelation? Is It Possible That Obama Is Either ';The False Profit'; or ';The Antichrist'; as Foretold In The Bible?
To me, Obama is not the antichrist, but I bet my life that he is influenced in some way by the antichrist.

Obama wants us to join the European Economic Community (EEC), which makes the EEC's grand total of countries 11, which is the predicted amount of countries made in the bible that will be the beginning of the World Gov't. (Or something like that, I can't find the bible verse at the moment)

Also, check out the link below for a shocking discovery. It's lol funny and shocking.

And also, Obama will possibly be the prez in Dec. 21, 2012. Coincidence? Is It Possible That Obama Is Either ';The False Profit'; or ';The Antichrist'; as Foretold In The Bible?
It is not a very serious question with words like ';anti-Christ,'; but have you ever realized that Americans are reactionary in their voting? Carter came in after Watergate and Ford - and look what happened. We snapped out of it and survived. Obama is a reaction to the long war in Iraq, mainly. So, the debt and economy are on a disastrous course and liberals finally have a chance to implement their agenda of government control and inefficiency on just about everything. Then, I guess we will react back the other way.
Absolutely not. President Obama is a very good man trying to do the best he can with a pretty terrible situation.

    Your hypothesis isn't rational.
it is possable and very likely
The False Profit? I love it.
    Anything is possible.
    Unlikely, but possible.
It appears to be at least one maybe both.
I do believe that you answered your own question in this post...
    LOL!!!!!!!

    are u serious!!

ok yeah Obamas the antichrist (extreme sarcasm)
no, but he acts like one.
No, just a mortal man. And he is not the Messiah either. Jesus was the son of God.
You need to read something besides Revelations to know where the Antichrist will come from. Some of the Old Testament books clearly state the Antichrist will come from the mountainous regions of Europe. He WILL be of European descent. There is nothing to indicate that Obama is from Europe, born in Europe, or even has any ancestry from Europe. He is mixed with a black African and white American parents - neither from Europe. The antichrist will possess amazing diplomatic skills and the ENTIRE WORLD will accede to his wishes. So far Obama has done NOTHING miraculous in the diplomatic arena. Rather, he has caved in or conceded to foreign powers everything that they want and gotten NOTHING in return save a Nobel Peace Prize that he was nominated for 10 days after his inauguration and awarded more as a counter to Bush foreign policy (Eropeans disliked) than on merit. LOL

So far the ONLY qualifications Obama has displayed to be the antichrist is an immeasurable ego by which he thinks he can solve any problem with charm and charisma. LOL
Where the Obama followers are cult like (I call it the ';Obama Cult'; and refuse to allow anyone from either side to bring in race when talking about Obama) he may be a false profit but he is no antichrist. If you read and not read over the Bible it clearly tells us we will not know the antichrist until it is too late. 1. Some has been calling him the antichrist from the start. 2. It is not too late. We still have 2010. Obama is no more or no less than a far, far Left Winger who is trying to turn the USA into the next USSR.

Mohammed was born in the 2nd half of the 6 th. cent.More than 250 years after the Bible was completed. The Bible did not need the Koran. However if you take Bible names and stories out of the Koran you would have little left.Either the Bible is the Word of God or the Koran is.Both can not be true.
You are so pathetic you cant even type prophet correctly

The Problem is your false Bible , you have changed it

Your Bible is not Pure any more
Well the PRophet Muhammad is the only prophet who we know everything about. All those at his time professed to this, and even his enemies. Also the Jews and Christians believed he was the prophet mentioned in the Bible but were so arrogant to accept.

Jesus, Moses, David, and others, we only know bits and pieces of them in the various books of the Bible. So, tell me, Muhammad was a false prophet?I dont think so.
If he was a false prophet, why was he mentioned by name in the Gospel of Barnabas, which was revoked by the Christian scholars at the time when they were compiling gospels into the modern day bibles. Is not Barnabas a reliable and trusted figure in the Christian religion. And if Mohammad's name isn't mentioned in the bible, and in Barnabas's gospel one must ask why? My opinion is that during the time of the compilation of the bible, Christian scholars knew that there was another prophet out there still to come. They knew that one day, a righteous man will come and claim to be a prophet. They knew that one day, their religion will not be the only major religion present among mankind. So they rescinded the Gospel of Barnabus and thought not to mention the name of a Prophet to come. Yes it is true, his name is not mentioned in today's bible, but there has to be a reason why. Maybe my reason isn't 100% accurate, but rest assured, there is a reason why Christians don't mention Mohammad's name in the bible. I will testify that Mohammad is a prophet of God and that there is only one God. His message is the same as the messages of the Prophets before him. So why deny him prophethood.
Mohammed was a joke...as testified by his jihadists.
Prophet Muhammad was actually metioned in the bible READ THIS:

    1.

MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY:

Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:

    ';I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.';

The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.

If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after

Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will

fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.

However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):

    i)

Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.

    [Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also Al-Qur'an 3:42-47]

    ii)

Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.

    iii)

Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158)

Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of Moses (pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail (pbuh) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (pbuh).

    Words in the mouth:

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them verbatim.

    ';I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.';

    [Deuteronomy 18:18]

    iv)

Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, ';My kingdom is not of this world.'; (John 18:36).

    v)

Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his

    people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, ';He came unto his own, but his own received him not.';

    iv)

Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).

    2.

It is Mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19

    ';And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.';

    3.

Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:

It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:

    ';And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.';

When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - ';Read';, he replied, ';I am not learned';.

    4.

prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned by name in the old testament:

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:

    ';Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem.';

';His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters

    of Jerusalem.';

In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad

(pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as ';altogether lovely';, but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet present.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament:

    Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6:

    ';And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.' But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, 'This is evident sorcery!' ';

All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians.

    1.

    John chapter 14 verse 16:

    ';And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.';

    2.

Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:

';But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which

    proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.';

    3.

Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:

';Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not

come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you';.

';Ahmed'; or ';Muhammad'; meaning ';the one who praises'; or ';the praised one'; is almost the translation of the

Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.

Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the

Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.

Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise

that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the

Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet

    Muhammad (pbuh).

    4.

Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:

';I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is

come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me';.

The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

NOTE: All quotations of the Bible are taken from the King James Version.
We are unable to know that until the end of the world, when everyone is exposed for what they realy are (if such is the case with the end of the world). Mohammed was a prophet, though wether true or flase is not within our ability to prove.
Here are 12 proofs that he was a true prophet:

    1. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

    2. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also foretold of everything that would occur to him and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as Muhammad foretold, as if he was reading the future from an open book.

    3. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also brought an Arabic Koran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Koran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Koran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Koran.

Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Koran.

    4. The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.

    5. Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him.

Till today, those who believe in Muhammad honor and love him. Anyone of those who believe in him would ransom his own family and wealth to see him, even if but once.

    6. All of history has not preserved the biography of any person in the manner it has preserved the life of Muhammad, who is the most influential human in history.

Nor has the entire earth known of anyone whom every morning and evening, and many times thereafter throughout the day, is thought of by those who believe in him. Upon remembering Muhammad, the believers in him will greet him and ask Allah to bless him. They do such with full hearts and true love for him.

    7. Nor has there every been a man on earth whom is still followed in all his doings by those who believe in him.

Those who believe in Muhammad, sleep in the manner he slept; purify themselves (through ablution and ritual washing) in the manner he purified himself; and adhere to his practice in the way they eat, drink, and clothe themselves.

Indeed in all aspects of their lives, the believers in Muhammad adhere to the teachings he spread among them and the path that he traveled upon during his life.

During every generation, from his day till our time, the believers in this Noble Prophet have fully adhered to his teachings. With some, this has reached the degree that they desire to follow and adhere to the Prophet's way in his personal matters regarding which Allah has not sought of them to adhere to in worship. For example, some will only eat those specific foods or only wear those specific garments that the Messenger liked.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad repeat those praises of Allah, special prayers, and invocations that he would say during each of his actions during day and night, like: what he would say when he greeted people, upon entering and leaving the house, entering and leaving the mosque, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep and awaking from sleep, observing the new crescent, observing the new fruit on trees, eating, drinking, dressing, riding, traveling and returning from travel, etc.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad fully perform-even to the minute detail-every act of worship-like prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage-as this Noble Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) taught and as he himself performed.

All of this allows those who believe in him, to live their lives in all aspects with this Noble Messenger as their example, as if he was standing before them, for them to follow in all their doings.

    8. There has never been nor will there ever be a man anywhere upon this earth who has received such love, respect, honor, and obedience in all matters-small and large alike-as has this Noble Prophet.

    9. Since his day, in every region of the earth and during every period, this Noble Prophet has been followed by individuals from all races, colors and peoples. Many of those who followed him were previously Christians, Jews, pagans, idolaters, or without any religion. Among those who chose to follow him, were those who were known for their sound judgment, wisdom, reflection, and foresight. They chose to follow this Noble Prophet after they witnessed the signs of his truthfulness and the evidences of his miracles. They did not choose to follow Muhammad out of compulsion or coercion or because they had adopted the ways of their fathers and mothers.

Indeed many of the followers of this Prophet (may Allah's blessings peace be upon him), chose to follow him during the time when Islam was weak, when there were few Muslims, and when there was severe persecution of his followers on earth. Most people who have followed this Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) have done so not to acquire some material benefits. Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet. Despite all this harm and persecution, this did not turn them back from his religion.

My brethren! All of this clearly indicates to anyone possessing any sense, that this Prophet was truly and really Allah's messenger and that he was not just a man who claimed prophethood or spoke about Allah without knowledge.

    10. With all this, Muhammad came with a great religion in its credal and legal make-up.

Muhammad described Allah with qualities of complete perfection, and at the same time in a manner that is free of ascribing to Him any imperfection. Neither the philosophers or the wise could ever describe Allah like such. Indeed it is impossible to imagine that any human mind could conceive of an existing being that possesses such complete ability, knowledge, and greatness; Who has subdued the creation; Who has encompassed everything in the universe, small or large; and Who possesses such perfect mercy.

Nor is it in the ability of any human being to place a perfect law based upon justice, equality, mercy and objectivity for all human activity on earth like the laws that Muhammad brought for all spheres of human activity - like buying and selling, marriage and divorce, renting, testimony, custody, and all other contracts that are necessary to uphold life and civilization on earth.

    11. It is impossible that any person conceive wisdom,, morals, good manners, nobleness of characters as what this honorable Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought.

In a full and complete manner, Muhammad spread a teaching regarding character and manners toward one' parents, relatives, fiends, family, humanity, animals, plants and inanimate objects. It is impossible for the human mind alone to grasp all of that teaching or come with a similar teaching.

All of that unequivocally indicates that this Messenger did not bring an) of this religion from his own accord, but that it was rather a teaching and inspiration that he received from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens above and created this universe in its miraculous architecture and perfection.

    12. The legal and credal make-up of the religion that the Messenger, Muhammad, (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought resembles the engineering of the heavens and the earth. All of that indicates that He who created the heavens and the earth is the One Who sent down this great law and upright religion.

The degree of inimitability of the Divine law that was sent down upon Muhammad is to the same degree of inimitability of the Divine creation of the heavens and earth. For just as humanity cannot create this universe, in the same manner humanity cannot bring forth a law like Allah's law that He sent down upon His servant and messenger Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him).
Of course he isn't inside a Bible! He drives a cab in New York City. He wouldn't be able to drive a cab if he was stuck in some smelly old book would he?
now the question is was jesus a false prophet. Oh and you spelled prophet wrong. Way you spelled it was in like bussiness profit. I gained a profit of money today. Thank you and give me 5 dollar bill
    No hes a real prophet

    allah subhanahu wata3ala

named 27 prophets in the quran

all are real but there is really

    over 100,000 prophets

thats what the muslim scientist say

and im prod to be a palestinian muslim
in islam we believe in Juses and Moses and Jocob..and all the other profits but in islam Mohammed is the messenger of Allah and the Quran was sent for him.....like the other Bibles they stand for some particler profit..
how would u find if he was false or not IN THE BIBLE WHEN THE BIBLE HAS BEEN CHANGED BY MAN????!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!????????!?!…

    btw, its PROPHET not PROFIT.

it has been CHANGED SO MUCH, YET WE STILL HAVE PROOF.
Everyone was a flase priophet. Its just rubbish
  • Kelbro Corporation
  • Does anybody here think that Jesus MAY have been a false profit?

Theres always that possibility. What if all this time we have been worshiping the wrong One?Does anybody here think that Jesus MAY have been a false profit?
I've thought that a few times. Some factions of Judaism believe Jesus was the false messiah and though they have some compelling argument there's no way to know for sure as there's compelling argument saying that Jesus was the true messiah as well.

The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel is one of the better books in the camp for Jesus. Another good one is the Case for the Historical Christ. I forget who wrote that (I think it was written by 2 people) but it was also a movie/documentary as well. It addresses questions like yours as well as questions such as where was Jesus before he started his ministry and what was he doing etc...

Pretty interesting stuff....Does anybody here think that Jesus MAY have been a false profit?
Nope, you're wrong. Jesus is the way ,the truth and the life. All others are imitators. Have a blessed night.
Yes, actually, it's probable he was, based on scripture.
oh the profit was, and is, very real.

the thing is, if you're not a prophet yourself, how do you distinguish the real from the false prophet with certainty? Seems only prophets have certain knowledge of those kinds of things, and the rest can only hope they joined the right one. Which is why the whole concept of prophecy is pointless.
not me. I believe that Jesus Christ is the messiah and this can be proven by his miracles, most notably, his resurrection! Praise the LORD Jesus Christ!
No there no way he can be false, his in the history books, in the bible, and back by everyone that believes that scientific science is real I believe he is real and his father also.
    yea

i doubt there was ever a prophet and there wont be

but yea i personally think hes a false prophet
If he actually existed, which is doubtful-yes.
the belief in any prophet is always a guess. One person cannot be 100% certain, but sometimes more than certain is enough to give that person belief. Some people choose to believe in jesus as a prophet as it gives them hope

How can christians be sure Jesus wasn't a false profit?

    False ';Profit';?

Well, His church makes some REAL Profit off of it, nonetheless! How can christians be sure Jesus wasn't a false profit?
Poor jesus was sacrificed by the jews in the name of his own father.

And then they turned him in to the son of the god since it was a great story and thanks to this christians became the monopolistic church for hundreds of year's gaining money money and power.

For those who says that since jesus was mentioned in the bible by the apostles...

Well ... greeks myth's state that Hercules is the son of Zeus ... and we know that since he was seen by the Argonauts , by the Gargantua's etc.How can christians be sure Jesus wasn't a false profit?
by the example of his life

just like we can be sure buddha wasnt a false prophet

    same goes for mohammad

we may not like the religions that have formed based on the teachings of the prophets, man tends to((insert opinion here)) write the religion to their own understanding of the prophets teachings
Because of all the miracles and healings He did. And because He is STILL doing them today....people are being healed, in the name of Jesus. Demons are being cast out, in the name of Jesus. And because God would certainly not allow all the teachings and stories of Jesus to be written and published in the same book as His Word, all these thousands of years-it would not make any sense. It would be like a Bible containing the Old Testament and then the rest of the Bible written about Muhammed or Buddha or someone like that. The Bible is the TRUTH, and Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE to all who believe. :)
Jess wasn't a prophet He was God and the Son of God. The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus paid the payment of sin He died for our sins was buried and resurrected the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4)Jesus took the wrath of God upon Himself to save you from Hell and forgave you for your sins. He died the death that the whole world deserved Jesus said that He is the Way the Truth and the Life no one goes to the Father but by Him. Repent of your sins (The Bible says that we are all sinner and fall short of the Glory of God) surrender your life to God and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior

dear God i believe Jesus died for my sins was buried and resurrected the third day i confess that i am a sinner please forgive me for my sins come into my life and control it thank you for saving me thank You for eternal life in Jesus name amen

read your bible daily and ask God to help you in your daily walk in the Lord and to Help you find a christian church email me if you have any qestions
By the testimony of the twelve apostles. We all know they existed, so therefore Jesus did exist by their testimony alone. BTW, Jesus wasn't just a ';prophet';.

That's O.K., because jokes gonna be on you some day.
    Obviously they can audit him.
What does the Bible say about identifying a true prophet? In cases such as Moses, Elijah, Elisha, and Jesus, God’s prophets performed miraculous works that attested to the genuineness of their message and office, but not all prophets performed works like that. Moses indicated three things that would identify a true prophet: 1) He would speak in God’s name, 2) What he foretold would come to pass (Deuteronomy 18:20-22), and 3) What a true prophet says has to promote true worship by being in harmony with God’s revealed word and commandments (Deuteronomy 13:1-4). The true prophet expressed God’s mind and viewpoint on the matter, and directed all honor to Jehovah, rather than to himself.

Jesus fulfilled scores of prophecies from his birth until even after his death. These prophecies not only validate him as God’s greatest prophet, but also attest to the genuineness of the prophets who foretold these things. Did Jesus speak in God’s name? He stated, “I have come in the name of my Father.” (John 5:43); he taught his followers to pray: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified” (Matthew 6:9); his works, he said, were done “in the name of my Father” (John 10:25); and in prayer on the night of his death, he said he had made his Father’s name manifest to his disciples and asked, “Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name” (John 17:6,11, 12, 26) In view of this, when he read aloud, or quoted, from the Hebrew Scriptures he certainly did not substitute “Lord” or “God” for the Tetragrammeton , which appears 6,972 times in the original language texts, but instead pronounced God’s personal name, which we today know in English as “Jehovah”. Did he foretell things that came to pass? He foretold his own sufferings and manner of death, the scattering of his disciples, the siege of Jerusalem, and the utter destruction of that city and its temple. (Mt 20:17-19; 24:1-25; 46; 26:31-34; Lu 19:41-44; 21:20-24; Joh 13:18-27, 38) In relation to these latter events, he also included prophesies that would be fulfilled during his presence when his heavenly kingdom would begin an active rulership in the midst of his enemies, (Matthew 22:41-44, applied by Jesus to himself from Psalms 110:1,2) Elsewhere in the Bible this time period is also referred to as “the last days”, ‘the time of the end”, and “the final part of the days”, among others. Did what Jesus say promote true worship by being in harmony with God’s revealed word and will? . During his ministry, Jesus frequently quoted from the Hebrew Scriptures. (Luke 4:4, 8) Of course, the wicked religious leaders of those days also quoted from the Scriptures. (Matthew 22:23, 24) The difference was that Jesus understood what the Scriptures meant, and he applied them in his life. He knew not only the letter of the Law but also the spirit of it.
    1) ';Profit'; is spelled ';prophet';

    2) The bible gives us specific instructions regarding how to recognize false prophets - and according to the bible, Jesus never failed any of those tests

    Jim, http://www.bible-reviews.com
Exactly the same way that they ';know'; God exists...they know Mary was a virgin and that the righteous will go to Heaven.
Because I've met Him, and now I am Him! And, because a false prophet would not freely give up his life to save a darkened world.
    they can´t.

    jesus represents good, while the

    devil represents bad.

who do you choose to walk with is the question.
read the bible it tells about the amzing miricles he did, a false prophet couldnt do that.
LOL. Profit. Some Christian churches Pastors surely know what that is.
Lol, profit. That's what televangelists make a lot of nowaday.

    The Holy Spirit.
    Prophet, dear. They can't.
    Go back to sleep noob.
we cant be 100% sure, btw its prophet
they can't, that's why its called ';faith';. because there is no evidence
    Jesus IS God!!

as a christian, thats what faith is for. you have to believe and trust in him

Esp. for the Christians - Who on the ';world stage'; right now would you consider to be a ';false profit';?

I'd leave that question up to God, but I'd consider those false prophets who encourage greed at the expense of the poor and impoverished and those who pervert justice for the benefit of the elite. God alone can judge, but I do know people on the ';world stage'; who seem to be very obviously struggling with walking the line between what they say is Christian behavior and what actually is Christian behavior.

God alone can judge the actions of another.

Being Christian is more than legalistically following a set of societal mores, it's about making a real, concrete difference in other peoples' lives such as food and clothing and shelter beyond trying to get them to buy a set of narrowly-held values.

I look for the log in my own eye before trying to point out the speck in anothers'.Esp. for the Christians - Who on the ';world stage'; right now would you consider to be a ';false profit';?

Joel O. You're best life now.
By strict Biblical interpretation a true prophet is someone who's every word about the future comes true . A false prophet therefore can easily be detected if just one thing he prophesies does not happen . Benny Hinn prophesied that all homosexuals would be dead by 1995 . Benny Hinn is a false prophet.
    LOUIS FARRAKAHN!!
OOH, and who wants to be God? I heard it said, '; We are to keep our hands and mouth off of God's anointed'; Who am I to dispute this. We are also told to judge them by their fruits. Meanwhile, i have yet to hear one that fits in this category, when i do, I will speak up.
    Any Morman.

What are the worse top false profits ever?

what are the 7 seven seals that are talked about in the bible?

is the world really ending? or just common event that are unfolding? What are the worse top false profits ever?
Profits or Prophets? What are the worse top false profits ever?
I know Enron and Madoff are the top false profits. And no the world isn't ending.
Enron, the South Sea stocks and the dot-coms. The profits just weren't there, and they killed the economy.

Or were you talking about something else?
    you mean prophets
chuck messler is one, the armstrongs were 2, herbert and garner, and most of the tv evangelists
I assume you mean prophets. I would say Darwin, Nicodemus, any preacher who preaches you can get to heaven on good works, or tells you that God is love and never gets angry. The seven seals are when the angels opens them up, plagues and wars follow in order that mankind will repent and turn back to the Lord. but if they dont each seal they open, the plagues become worse.

How do you know jesus wasn't a false profit?

-- if you're gonna use scripture, pleas explain it in your own words and reference the scripture.... thanks. How do you know jesus wasn't a false profit?
There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one!!! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!!

Pilot is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!!

At best he was an amalgam of those others!!How do you know jesus wasn't a false profit?
well first i think it's best to use the words that everyone else is using otherwise i'd wind up using sentences like ';lioopo nads quando fluu'; so let's keep this basic shall we? you can't know at least not 100% know anyway thus faith, ya do what everyone else does, pick a direction and run with it
theres no proof. only the stories written in the bible. its something you either choose to believe in or choose not to believe in. thats why theres so many religions and those who choose the be atheist (someone who denies the existence of God). Those who do believe in jesus and the whole phrophecies... they believe so they can have something/someone to look up to, have hope and faith in, something/someone to live for and turn to when they feel as if they have no one else around. some say religion is just a figure of your imagination. you either choose to believe it or you dont. in my opinion.. religion- being either catholic, christian, buddah, hindu etc.. is an institution where people gather together to express their beliefs and just be together in a time of peace, happiness, and general well being. sometimes we need those small hours in our lives to get away from all the violence, discrimination and racism in the world now a days.
Wait, are false profits what got the banking industry into the brink of collapse?

Since JC overturned the tables of the money changers at the temple, he clearly wasn't interested in proft.

    First of all, it's prophet.

Second of all, we don't have to ';know'; or give reasons as to why. It's just something you believe, therefore we know.

    Simple as that.
Believing is not knowing you troll of an answerer!
